Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Friendly reception. Hospitable people with an eye for detail. We had to leave very early and would not be able to have breakfast. They packed us each a breakfast package, which was placed in our rooms the night before. The rooms are large and comfortable. Quality linen and decent beds. It's so nice to get and experience more than what can be seen on the website. Their decor is tasteful and pleasing to the eye. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I don't know Potch at all and was very nervous about where I was going to find a guest house that has good security (electric fencing a must), is clean and tidy, as well as offers good dinner at a good price. Sunset Manor met all the requirements and did not disappoint at all. Lebo was also very helpful and friendly which was a cherry on the cake. Will therefore be able to recommend Sunset Manor with peace of mind!

Simple self-catering is even possible. Includes a microwave. The only item that was missing is a blanket for people who just cannot sleep under a duvet.
We spent the night there on Friday evening, the reception in the afternoon was pleasant and friendly. However, the next morning we experienced a water crisis. First of all, I can't believe that the shower is still inside the bath. The shower head is small and very impractical. After running the water for 5 minutes I still couldn't get hot water. Reception was contacted and after a while they realized that the hot and cold water had been switched, this after another 5 minutes of water had been flushed away - looking for hot water! However, that was not the end, when we started showering the water flowed erratically, sometimes we had water and sometimes a single thin trickle. Needless to say, the shower experience was a fiasco. After breakfast the water pressure was better, does this mean that if other guests shower around your room someone gets the short end of the stick? Then also: can't you just order in for breakfast yourself? Decide yourself how much you want to eat and from what? If this is the case, there will be less food waste. Sunset Manor is a nice place but the shower concept and water situation is extremely disappointing.
Advertised WiFi unusable because it keeps turning off on three different devices. Small annoyances such as empty toilet spray and bed lamp not working left the impression that the household was not functioning 100%. Admin? I asked for quote without breakfast but still had to pay full rate. Already a day after departure I am still being harassed about an amount that was already transferred a day before arrival and which supposedly cannot be confirmed.

The accommodation surprised us completely. Lovely rooms, farm breakfast, and very friendly owners. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet part of town, across from a field where we could watch horses and birds from our balcony. The mattress and pillows was very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the room did not have a shower. It did have a lovely bath, but it was without a railing. If you are older, like us, rather ask about this before booking.

Demi immediately came to greet us at the car and took us directly to our room. The exquisitely furnished room was indeed a pleasant surprise.
