Beautiful place. Clean rooms. Restaurant experience bad with almost everything on menu not available to order. WiFi did not work the whole stay.

Rooms very neat, breakfast from the books. Beds very comfortable.
We were warmly received by the friendliest, most helpful staff. The restaurant has the most beautiful views and our food was tasty. I was relieved if the children themselves walked around to the playground. Everything in the rooms was neat and clean. We will definitely stay there again.
My room was neat and well equipped with a comfortable bed, small fridge and TV with limited DStv channels (picture quality not surprising, but I don't watch TV anyway, so it didn't bother me personally). The room had a glass door to the adjoining unit and the neighbors' conversations could be heard a little too clearly. The environment is peaceful and has a beautiful view to the Swartberge. Breakfast was delicious and enough variety with quite a few luxuries too.
Small things bother: The floors of the showers very dangerously slippery, a single sliding mat rolled up in the towel basket is not enough. Only when the person is in the shower do you realize it's dangerously slippery. Post notice or place permanent sliding mat in shower. In any case, a guest would not expect a guest room of its quality to have plastic floors in the showers. Noise through the night from adjacent premises is troublesome. A guesthouse of this quality will not make a guest wait at 2pm to check in. If so due to special circumstances, at least something to drink will be offered free of charge. We were grateful that the loft was additionally available for our guest, but if it serves as an extra guest room, it should be provided with a skylight. Unpleasant to sleep all night with an air conditioner and no fresh air. Despite these issues, we have pleasant memories of our stay. A soap dish and a hook in the shower would have been much more convenient.
Stayed here from Friday to Sunday for a wedding. I really have no complaints, everyone was so helpful, the area was so beautiful and the food excellent. My only recommendation would be that the current wall plugs should be replaced with the new Veti range, which includes a USB link point and an international sock, and can not be taken by guests. Will definitely recommend Surval to all my friends and family.
Surval Olive Estate is indeed stunning with breathtaking views and service to match. The accomodation is luxury meets practicality. Our dinner was fantastic and the waitress had a very good understanding of the menu.
Unbelievably beautiful stay. Breakfast variety very disappointing with no choice how eggs are done. Weak coffee served with breakfast. Bins that became empty were not refilled. Management reacts negatively after my comments are sent to them. Open area where food was served was freezing cold.
The fact that they switched on the electric blanket while we were out was wonderful. I really appreciated it.

After quite a few kilometers on our motorbikes, it was an experience to clock in there. Friendly, helpful people. We were entertained with a beautiful cabaret show and enjoyed delicious cheese and wine, and of course the olives! To say in English: We enjoyed our Bill!
Every time we travel through Oudtshoorn or come to the KKNK, we stay at Surval and time and time again we remember why we like to stay here so much - beautiful rooms, delicious food, good service. Surval is tops!
We had an amazing reception, with such friendly staff, they really went the extra mile to accommodate us with special requests. The rooms are beautifully clean, stylish and the decor is truly something to behold. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at Surval and would stop by again anytime. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

What a beautiful, stylish place with friendly service and delicious food! My husband and I couldn't believe our eyes when we drove into the gates of this oasis... We arrived at no. 99 during the KKNK had a problem with our other reservation in Oudtshoorn and LekkeSlaap's ladies helped us out of our predicament and got us a place at this gem in the Klein Karoo. It was so much fun at Surval that we didn't even feel like driving to Oudtshoorn for the KKNK! So much effort has gone into the layout and decor of the estate. You don't see so much detail and good taste every day. We will certainly stay here again on a next visit to Oudtshoorn and recommend Surval to all our friends.

We had a nice time. The honeymoon suite is nice, the people are nice, and it was nice and relaxing. The service at the restaurant could have been faster, but the food was good.
If you want to treat yourself, this is the place!
The rooms are absolutely out of this world. The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. The service from all the staff was very good. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon walks through the olive grove. A real gem and we will certainly be returning for a longer stay.
