Relax and barbecue weekend with spouse. Not many animals seen but peace and quiet. Place comfortably equipped. Just take ice with you.

What a beautiful place! We enjoyed every moment. The tranquility, babbling of the stream and beautiful nature was a respite for city souls. Bonus was the rock jumping family that welcomed us. Received excellent and friendly service from Marie. We will book again for sure!
Marie received us warmly and the unit was neat and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a nice walk around, and especially enjoyed the water stream and nyalas and rock jumpers who came to visit.
If you're looking for an affordable getaway that still feels like home, I recommend Thaba Lenaka 3. The service was excellent and the place was beautiful, I will never holiday anywhere else.

An amazing, quiet getaway in Thaba Lenaka 3. A beautiful view amongst a peaceful atmosphere, with every amenity you could wish for. I even brought too much with me! Loved that we had aircon, TV, DStv, an extra heater, very well-made beds and extremely clean linen! It would be all 5 stars, but I was so looking forward to the big corner bath which is what drew me to booking the unit. Unfortunately, my partner (a plumber - here for work in Bela Mall) had to redo the tape on the shower head for us to have a pressurized shower - and all the (hot) water coming from the geyser was brown. So, I didn't get to have my big bath.
It's one of the cleanest and neatest places we've ever stayed. The owners can be so proud of themselves for having so much respect for visitors. I loved the place and will make sure we go there often. Thank you very much for such a peaceful, breathtaking weekend!

The place is beautifully decorated luxuriously. Natural beauty indescribable. Lovely sitting on the porch and watching the many birds. We were very private, no noise from other guests. If you really want to get away from it all, this is just the place for you.

It was an absolutely positive experience. The accommodation is very neat and clean and everything you need for a weekend. The tranquility of nature has been preserved and is a pleasure for a city dweller. We had to come back to Pretoria on Saturday morning for a meeting, it is possible, because it is only an hour's drive. We had a great rest, never had the television on, and would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to rest.
