This accommodation was used by me as a stopover on my journey but is comfortable enough for a stay if you want to explore the Sabie area. It offers all you need to do this.

Stayed one night and there were no problems, would be nice if each room had its own braai area and not shared with other guests.
We were kindly received very late in the evening. If you like nature, you will really like the stream of water next to the rooms. There are friendly dogs that we had to entice with treats to come and sit with us - they are terribly sweet and did not want to come into the homes.
The place is neat and the decor cute and unique. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful view from the porch, beautiful sunset photographed. Coffee facilities were available and a microwave oven. The particular room we booked could benefit from a bedside table for a coffee mug and mobile phone. The narrow porch could do with a small table/shelf for a coffee cup. However, we still had a great time on the stoepie.

Walking distance from town. Nice atmosphere. Karla solves little problems fast to make you happy. The room next to us had noisy youngsters and she gave us another room other side of the house.

It was bitterly cold. The most delicious, warm bedding available.
We enjoyed the owners' well behaved dogs and the relaxing atmosphere.
Warm welcome and fantastic setting. Very peaceful and relaxing with clean well-appointed accommodation and the river to drift one off to sleep. Well worth a visit and hoping to be back there in the near future.

Would definitely use their accommodation again, it is also close to all places to visit in the area.
Attention can be given to faucets in kitchen, very difficult to use. Upgrading in kitchen and bedroom would be good with hanging space and shelves in room. Bigger sink in bathroom please!

Rooms were clean. Nice view. You only need to buy more plates and glasses, I think it's not enough for a large group like us.
The cabin with a mountain view could be better - curtains, floors and wardrobe need replacing and none of the cutlery and crockery matches. I got the feeling that the cabin was not a regular accommodation, almost as if it is a place to put things not needed. The view from the cabin is spectacular. Just wished the inside was not such a let down.
Stayed here for 2 nights, basically just slept over. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable, and could cook in the kitchen. Very nice to be out of town for a bit. Will stay here again.
Tranquility by the river and the resident dog who entertained us with her "stone fish" that she takes out of the river.

Terribly friendly reception in a beautiful place to stay. The little river that rippled past in front of our accommodation was so soothing and relaxing. All the animals are a bonus. My grandson was carried away with the horses and sheep that he could feed apples by hand. Ducks and geese that walk right here right in front of you and the high point for the kids is the whoop, Lielie. She provided a lot of prestige entertainment, any child's best friend. This is an ideal place to get away for a family reunion. More than enough place to stay.

There was a smell that was not nice. It was like a place that was not being used for some time with no proper ventilation. I was sneezing all the time. The blankets were dark colours which I was not comfortable with. Black and grey/purple and black. Fitted sheet was maroon. Towels were very, very old and they looked like a fabric softener was never used. I understand that they can't have new towels all the time but those were worse.

Love to farm? Book your stay at Thandamamzi! The history of the farm is clearly visible everywhere with implements. Animals, horses, ducks, geese, chickens and you can swim in the river if you want and there are waterfalls within 15 km on the Panorama route.

We had a nice stay in the Cabin with a View, but not fully equipped for self-catering. The kitchen is impractical and cannot really cook much. The bedding can be replaced with new ones, the duvet is a bit frayed. We had to ask for their grills to be cleaned and trash thrown out. The view is beautiful and the braai facilities are wonderful.

It was so nice to spend the night here with the beautiful view of the large garden and the river. Bedroom is spacious and neat and everything is clean. The unit is on a plot and it really feels much nicer and quieter than in a town.

Nice clean and tidy place, can pay attention to beds and kitchen utensils, as well as extra braai space. Had to eat out one night because the other people used the braai, another night we had to make our own plan to make potjie on a gas bottle, because people wanted to braai. Maybe build an extra one or provide a Weber for the upstairs apartment. Kitchen had no tongs, pot, pan or anything specifically for cooking. Just bowls and plates and cups. Two single beds that make a king-size bed, but one bed sits higher than the other, so when you lie down, one person lies high and one low. Road is not well suited for a small car. Furthermore, the farm is beautiful and tidy.
Sorry we could only stay for 1 night, but the nature is beautiful, even saw how beautiful the moon rises and got to know new foreign people who were also guests.
What a beautiful place! We were so warmly welcomed and could play with animals, fish and hang out all afternoon! Almost as if you are with family on the farm! This is a pocket pass option for anyone who wants to stay in Sabie.
Although we only stayed for one night, we were welcomed very kindly and we enjoyed it very much. Everything was neat and clean. You feel relaxed right from the start with the beautiful view and the river that flows peacefully and then don't forget the rooster that woke us up early in the morning. Enjoyed it a lot. Thandmanzi is an affordable and lovely place to stay when you are in Sabie. It is a neat and large farmhouse next to the Sabie River, which is perfect for a couple or even a large group of family or friends who wants to stay together and have a good time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The people of the place were so nice and kept saying if something wasn't right to let us know. I enjoyed being able to read the history of the place. So precious! My boy is 2 years old. He really enjoyed nature and animals. His highlight when he was able to rub the hand lamb. Something for any type of person out there to appreciate. We enjoyed the tranquility so much! We will for sure go home there again. Thank you very much for recommending the place!
