Absolutely stunning!
The apartment overlooks Bethulie with a nice view of the old church and bridge. The site's garden is something special and the apartment is furnished with care and style. We only stayed one night but would easily make a weekend of it next time.
The overall experience was truly exceptional, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Aloes Guest House to anyone visiting the area. You absolutely deserve a 5-star rating from us.
From reception to driving away was just a pleasure, place is big and for sure value for money. You get more than you expect, because it's the little things like biscuits with the coffee that make the stay special. People are very organized and very hospitable. Neat, clean, comfortable, safe, great view, quiet, peaceful, comfortable. Can highly recommend for sure.

We had a great short stay at The Aloes Guest House, which is ideal for two people. We appreciate the fact that they are pet friendly, and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the giant garden. Jana is a wonderful and very friendly host. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you will need for your stay.

Very neat accommodation with WiFi and a generator to lighten the burden of load shedding - a privilege that cannot easily be found in other guesthouses in the town. Getting up at 02:00 in the morning during load shedding to turn on the generator to help a guest sleep with a CPAP machine is going an extra mile for guests that we didn't expect. The kitchen is also nice and spacious and well furnished with a beautiful garden. We will definitely stay here again.
