A friend and I went to the spa and then had a lovely stay at The Art Guesthouse. Elsa and her help received us very kindly and welcomed us. It is a beautiful guest house with the most beautiful works of art and beautiful garden. The room and bathroom are very well furnished and there were delicious breakfast treats in the fridge. We hung out in the garden in front of our room until dark and slept very well that night. Recommend The Art Guesthouse for a delightful experience.

As I was looking for accommodation for the Race to the Sun I was delighted to see that it is only 500 m from the starting line. A quiet, peaceful area. Accommodation and garden both very neat.
The bathroom wasn't clean at all. There was no hand soap in at the basin in the bathroom. The sheet was dirty. The small pillows on the beds were also dirty. The room didn't feel clean at all.
Slept over for one night. Centrally located for what we wanted to do. Neat and clean.
There is so much to feast your eyes on in the room and the garden. Love the artistic look. Elsa has an amazing eye for decor and her art is stunning. Such a unique place to visit, we enjoyed it and were sad to leave after our overnight stay.

Just disappointed about place advertised as B&B but no breakfast except 2 scones and 2 muffins for 2 nights, rooms not cleaned either. I have stayed at cheaper places that provide better services, I was disappointed. One expects that if a place is known as a B&B there will at least be a breakfast. Elsa is very hospitable and friendly and the place is beautiful. We were there for a wedding and out early to get her hair done. If you then come back after 12, you expect the place to be cleaned up. Then you don't want to wash cups and make beds. Why isn't it clearly marketed as a self-catering place? I think it's weak not to make that clear. For the price you paid there you at least expect a good breakfast with cleaning room service. I would not simply recommend the place, for the above reason. Although it's a shame because the place is really beautiful.

We just stayed one night at The Art for a wedding. We were very impressed with the room and the service. The garden is amazingly beautiful and it was lovely to be able to sit in the garden early morning with a cup of coffee and scones that they provided. The hostess is very friendly and helfpul. We are already planning on going back for a weekend. A TV would be an extra bonus for the men who want to watch rugby over the weekend, but for us it was no problem.
