This photo is old, the place doesn't look like that anymore, this photo looks like a holiday home but it's actually a guest house with a receptionist. Tania, the receptionist is fantastic, good human relations pass on good information, she is a star. The unit we slept in felt like an old resort, poor towels and poor linen, our duet had holes in it, I saw this after Tania said she wasn't aware we were bringing our dog or she would be pet friendly put up linen, she also removed the carpet because they charge a R100 pet cleaning fee. I'm just glad she didn't know about our dog, because then what would that duvet have looked like. I have never heard of anything like this in my life, and we travel with our dog often. The toilet seat was put through and smelled of pee, not a nice garage. I actually wanted to brush my teeth in the kitchen because brushing your tongue and breathing in old pee isn't for everyone. The water in the shower is also pathetic, I understand there are water restrictions but the owner sets the geyser to the lowest temperature so you don't have to use cold water, it was still too cold and the water pressure is weak, you won't hurt your hair can't wash under that water, it was cold and rainy in Jeffreys and then you just want to warm up a little, but not in that shower. I feel the owner of the place is squeezing every penny out and not putting back into the place, or not recently. We paid a lot cheaper for places that were excellent and not just bargains on the sea or the area. I understand that it is about location, location, location. But really, if you want to charge people R950 a night, just have some respect for your guests to provide a decent toilet seat. The place wouldn't have fetched R450 if it wasn't by the sea. I hope that the owner invests some money in 2020 because the place has a lot of potential.

Our stay was wonderful. Tania is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are exactly what the ad says. The Luxury Seaview room has the most incredible view. The room is spacious with everything you need. It's awesome to shower or bathe with a view of the sea! I have certainly found my accommodation for future visits to Jeffreys.
A very nice place and will definitely stay there again. Nina's restaurant and Spar are walking distance from The Beach House. Definitely a place we would recommend.
We booked well in advance. We didn't book an ocean front room, but at least expect the room to be up to standard otherwise. It wasn't. The towels and linen were stained. The bathroom mat is also not up to standard.

A shower caddy can be an asset.
We were there for about 2 hours and had to look for someone to book us in. The woman who does the laundry helped us. She was a star to run around on our behalf. The view was amazing, but that's where it ends. There were no plates, knives, forks and braai facilities, even though we were told we could braai in front of the bottom apartment. The unit was very small and cramped. The wardrobe barely had any space. No hair dryer, fridge too small and not cleared of ice build-up. We went to look for other accommodation and lost money unnecessarily. Being so disappointed after almost 9 hours on the road and no safe parking (had to park in te street).
From the day we arrived till the day we left, (12 days), we saw not one member of management or staff. The unit was not swept or linen changed for the full 12 days we were there. No outside lights were on during the evening / night so you went out after dark, AT YOUR OWN RISK down the stairs. The TV did not work at all. It is a beautiful area but I will definitely not recommend the Beach House to anyone.
It was really very nice. The view was fantastic and the sunrise... Will definitely come again!
All that bothered me was that some of the towels were broken.
The neighborhood is quiet yet very close to everything and it is out of the hustle and bustle of the busy areas. Thank you very much.
