This is a very stunning house with a history going back decades. While you sit on the porch, you can watch the dolphins swim in the water in front of you. There are a lot of places to go and swim in the area. The host is also very nice and helped us with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this house. You can have a braai inside or outside the house and walk around in the streets without worry.

The house is spacious and has everything you need on vacation. The tumble dryer can only really be replaced - it has passed its useful life. The location with regard to the sea was perfect, but unfortunately with the magistrate's office right next to the house, the gathering of those awaiting trial was a bit disturbing. It's a shame that the element gathers right in front of the house all day - especially if one wants to work in an afternoon nap. It makes you a little nervous. However, throughout the night we felt safe. There really isn't much to do in the town and surroundings and you have to prepare for it. We struggled a bit the first week to get used to it, but we did make peace with it.

Everything and more regarding device is available. Location is great. For us as city dwellers, security is always a concern - no burglar bars in front of windows or doors.

Wonderful location, gorgeous house with plenty of space and lots of interesting artefacts in the house.
The house was equipped with absolutely everything - even a dishwasher and washing machine. There was both an indoor and outdoor barbecue and all kinds of accessories. We really enjoyed our stay in a place that was actually only intended for an overnight stay on the way to Richtersveld.
The Beach House was definitely what was dreamed of. Very nice and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea and all the activities. Was definitely the getaway we wanted. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Think we will come back next year, thank you to the host and Helen. We enjoyed the cottage very much including the big kitchen. Especially with the wonderful garden with the granadilla, olive and fig trees as well as all the wonderful herbs we could use for cooking. For us, everything was 100%.

A beautiful old house with authentic interior. Bee received us very kindly and answered all our questions about the environment with enthusiasm. We experienced 4 seasons in one day and saw the sea change from fog to clear blue with dolphins frolicking shallow. Sunrise and sunset were indescribably beautiful. The bedrooms are something special. The kitchen with its equipment was 5 star and was a lovely, warm meeting place with its large table! Many thanks, Irene - what a lovely and cozy stay. Sorry Beach House is so far - a lovely old fashioned home with spacious bedrooms and I think two large bathrooms. Very tidy with everything in - from freezers to washing machines, TV and WiFi.

We arrived slightly early for check in but still had a very warm and friendly welcome by Irene at the Beach house. The view and activity around the house is so relaxing. The house and the decor is so tasteful and amazing, words cannot describe it. Irene was very helpful with some information on what to do and where to go. Even helped us to cook some mussels straight from the ocean.

The stay at Beach House was unforgettable and we enjoyed every second. It was our second time here and will definitely stay there again. Port Nolloth is also very quiet and interesting and of course we are in love with this place. From the accommodation, the unbelievably beautiful sunset and of course the people of the town.
Irene and Dee's service and friendliness is how it should be at all guesthouses. The location is perfect, light a fire and grill a chop while enjoying the sunset over the sea. The house itself is also very artistically and homely decorated.

From the moment we pulled into Port Nolloth, the views were breathtaking. On top of that, walking into the Beach House which is full of character and history and has a 180º sea view... amazing. The house is comfortable and very comfortable and we didn't have any problem in a week. It is conveniently located, very safe and beautiful. It was incredibly fun and we will definitely do it again.

The house is fantastic and the "old" atmosphere and interior of the house gives us the feeling that it is our grandfather's farmhouse. It was wonderful. The town's beggars are very disappointing. One morning a municipal worker entered the yard and while we were drinking coffee on the stoep came to bother us. He looked for a glass to drink water with. At Spar we were also harassed by a beggar who simply wanted to take my little girl out of my hands to "help" me. Fortunately, Spar's security chased him away. There was also a lobster seller harassing us at home and not wanting to accept my "no, thank you". He also just wanted to enter the yard. The three incidents certainly put a damper on our stay. So it is very unfortunate that the wonderful house is being defaced by the people of the town. The house's location should have been further away from the town to prevent the people from just showing up there. This is not the first time we have had incidents with beggars in Port Nolloth. But yes, the house is wonderful and aunt Irene is very friendly.
Can really recommend accommodation, because it is clean and tidy. Amenities very good. Owner very friendly and helpful. Sea view enough to make you completely relax. Delicious!
