11 guests' feedbackOur stay was okay. Very cramped with an extra bunk bed. The toilet was very low, and the geyser was too small and didn't last for a family of 6. The lights in the cupboard did not work. The floor was very unsteady for the top level.
We had a nice stay, we had a warm welcome, and we were taken good care of.
Everything you need was there, location and price excellent.
Would recommend The Gallery Lounge anytime, beautiful place with loads of space. Service is very good, they will definitely see us again.

We booked our stay and there was a booking issue (which isn't the first time this has happened), but they, The Gallery Lounge, happily changed it to the place that was actually booked. The garden cottage was such a cute little place. You could see that they took their time making it what it is now. I like the attention to detail, like the heated blanket and heater they put in the room. It was a nice touch. We only stayed there one night, but would happily stay there again.
Can definitely recommend them! Friendly, hospitable and helpful.
The guest house does not provide for power outages. There was no power in the morning when we woke up, so we couldn't make coffee. I also couldn't take care of my hair, and I had a meeting that day that I had to attend. The power outage timetable was not made available and we were therefore unprepared. I would like to suggest that guesthouses that do provide for power outages are indicated. One needs to know this especially if you have meetings/functions.
Place still has a lot more potential. Outside area needs attention.
Critical guests might have complained because they are still restoring and therefore we understand that it can only improve as time goes on. Garden is beautiful and well maintained. Buildings really have character.
