Very nice and comfortable. The host was amazing.
The room had no windows. Felt without fresh air. No view of anything.
We really enjoyed the place, it was perfectly located for our purposes. Despite the busy street in front of us, it wasn't a disturbance at all, and we were able to take it easy and relax. Close to various shopping places, close to the DHL stadium and also close to the starting point of the Argus Bike Tour. We could walk everywhere we wanted to be and the streets and surroundings were beautifully clean and also very safe for walking. The view was very good and the service of high quality. We felt very safe staying there. There is framework for shade nets, but no shade nets over the parking area. Apparently the wind "removed" it. It would be a big bonus if shade nets could be put up again, then the vehicles would not have to stand in the bloody sun. Other than that we can't complain at all, once again we really enjoyed the place, view and surroundings are a big bonus and we hope to make use of it again.

We had a very pleasant stay. The guest house was perfect for our needs. The receptionist welcomed us with a beautiful smile and made sure that our car was parked safely. Lovely clean linen, comfortable pillows, and a great shower.
We stayed in room 3, there was no window in the apartment looking out and no door that could go outside. The kitchen roof is translucent, broken and dirty. There were large cockroaches in the room. Parking was a nightmare.
Convenient location for Seven's rugby.
The Protea room is spacious and comfortable. I believe the owners will pay attention to the shower that does not drain well and the sink whose plug does not work. I would definitely stay here again!
I highly appreciate the reception at Green House, wonderful people with the hearts of gold. The convenience and easy access to everything beautiful in Cape Town is my highlight. I will again and again book at The Greenhouse for my visits.

Room 6 is very cramped for a long stay.
The room and bathroom were neat and clean. I had a great night's sleep and the customer service was great. I would definitely stay here again. I wish the wifi and TV worked a little better. But all in all, I feel this was good value for my money.
Having arrived directly from the airport, the room was not ready after check-in time, but they could clean around us. TV not connecting, but seeing that its load shedding you can't use it anyway. Half-eaten hotdog still in the microwave. 2nd Check-in from our side was early but did phone the day before to confirm. Same story, not ready. This room was more of a bedsit as the lady that cleans takes the used dishes & cutlery to our bathroom basin to wash.
Value for money, clean and tidy. Giving us a chance to go out a little later because we ran a marathon that morning.

The only shortcoming will be that he does not have nice views of either animal or mountain or sea. Harry was very good and helped us wonderfully.
I was aware that parking was limited and therefore asked after the reservation that I also wanted to reserve a parking. Harry confirmed it. Unfortunately, when my wife arrived in the afternoon, there was no parking for our car, and likewise 4 hours later when I arrived there, we still could not park inside the yard. By the nature of the matter we were unhappy and suggested that the money be refunded and that I then check into a hotel with secure parking. Harry himself came out and apologized and assured me that the vehicles would be parked so that I would be able to park on the premises when we returned in the evening, which I did. Unfortunately, the 1 vehicle in the process was parked so close to the stairs, so that you could hardly push past it with your luggage. In my opinion, there is only safe parking on the premises for 2 vehicles. Somerset Road which passes in front of the guest house is a very busy street with 24 hour traffic and noise.
Harry and Barbara were most friendly and helpful - we will certainly return.
The guesthouse's location was excellent.
Generally a peaceful place to stay. Love the location. Clean towels every day and our room got cleaned every day. Friendly and helpful staff. Our rental car was safely parked. So in love with everything.
Everything you need for an overnight stay in a central area.
We only spent one night there. Good and friendly service. All I can complain about is that the room has a bit of a musty smell. Furthermore, it was very clean and tidy.
My parents went to stay here and wanted to stay close to the stadium for the rugby, everything was as expected. Thank you.

Just remember, it's a lot of stairs to the rooms so it's difficult with luggage. Harry was incredibly friendly and helpful and came a few times to see if we were okay. He also helped us with the luggage. The place is very clean and tidy.

Bit of a problem if you have a big car with parking, but they are very helpful and accommodating.
Harry and Barbara are super hosts and we felt like it was a home from home we'll be back again. Only one request for ordinary tea to be replenished and maybe a little normal milk for tea in the morning.
It was a holiday with my father and The Greenhouse Guesthouse was our first destination. Harry was excellent. Very attentive and helpful. We did have a problem with some of the other people who stayed there as well as a parking space that I asked for twice. The place is very neat and clean. I would just suggest they let people know the accommodation is on a main road.
The linen and beds are comfortable. Place is updated and rooms look like in the picture. Only problem was that it didn't feel clean. The bathroom in the double room has no windows and there was an unwanted smell hanging in there. Coffee and milk were only put out for one day. No padding done for next day. No place to wash coffee cups, except in the bathroom sink. Place needs a good cleaning. The duvet covers' clips do not all work. Duvet pulls out of his shed. There were papers under the bed from previous occupants. Curtains could do with a good wash.
Facility tasteful, neat and clean. Personal attention by Harry immediately made us feel at home. Although the area might bother some people, our 3 ladies never felt unsafe. Could sit on the balcony and visit. Close to V&A waterfront and seafront road!

Nothing more to say, just that it was a pleasant stay, I would recommend it to anyone without children though.
The Greenhouse is an absolute dream destination. The customer service is top notch, there is secure parking and the location is great. The rooms are beautiful and tidy, and we were upgraded to a more luxurious room by the manager on arrival at no extra cost. Haven't stayed anywhere for a long time where everything went so professionally, friendly and smoothly.
Harry was lovely to chat with daily. If we needed anything he would get it. The location is great for walking the gardens, CBD, or Green Point to Sea Point. It was a great place to stay. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice visit, very tidy, very spacious, nice balcony where we could sit and cool off after a long day exploring the Cape.
The rooms are well appointed with hotel quality bedding and furnishings. The bathrooms are modern and a pleasure to use. The cold water bottles on arrival were a welcome surprise. The older building does have challenges, such as limited parking space.
