31 guests' feedbackLovely guest house which is centrally situated. Private unit with a porch where one can have a small braai in the evening. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we will stay there again.
Stay was very satisfactory and very comfortable. Had everything we needed.
Puffy pillow fairly comfortable but difficult to communicate with the owner, didn't answer phone calls. Filthy carpet next to the bed and dirty microwave inside. The bathroom sink is poorly built, wobbled badly, and there is a question of the hygiene in the large gap between the sink and the wall (dishes must be cleaned there too). The TV is impossible to turn on with no instructions provided. We got shouted at by another lady (tenant?) when we turned the bright light outside off in the morning (the light had shone brightly under the window blinds onto the bed all night and we'd had to block this with tea towels). It seemed the light switch turned the borehole pump off, which also turned off all water to the household (no sign indicating so). This is not the way to treat guests and suggests the switch is not City Certified as sharing of the switch is illegal.
The place was a surprise. The perfect hostess was there. Had a big meltdown when we got there. She went out of her way to help us. If you are tired from the long distance and you are still in a strange place too, she was great. Thank you very much again.
We stayed at The Puffy Pillow. Comfortable bed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
Price good, facilities ok and well equipped.
The place is ideal for a night's sleep, everything you need is available. Thanks also to the owner who keeps the visitor informed all the time, even about the loadshedding schedule.
Only Netflix was available. No news channels or radio stations.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation. Everything one needs and more. The board games kept the kids busy.
Room was very nice and tidy. They will only have to look at the toilet which does not completely stop the water when flushed. Other than that, no problem.
It looks like we are sharing a geyser with another room. Our family of 4 could not all shower in the morning. No hot water. Dog's barking was quite disturbing. Couldn't drink coffee in the morning because there wasn't enough creamer for 4 cups.

Was very neat and everything you needed was there. Location is also nice near the mall for eating out. Slept very well there.
We were very satisfied. Everything was exactly as in the photos. It was clean and tidy.
This is advertised as self catering. There is only a microwave oven. No stove, no pots. The car gate does not work, and we as guests have to open and close it by hand in the rain. The mattress is probably one of the cheapest they could buy, with the springs sticking into your back all night. The bathroom has no ventilation and there are no windows. The sink that washes dishes in is the same sink where you brush your teeth and wash your face. The carpet is dirty with brown stains on it. It is advertised that there is a barbecue. No braai facilities. I would not recommend BloemSlaap to anyone at all. The representation given and what you get are vastly different.
We were in and out with our travel arrangements, but no trouble for our hostess!
Nice spacious living room, TV and WiFi. Kitchen is nicely furnished. Large bathroom. The unit is neat and clean. Perfect for family with 2 children. Thank you BloemSlaap, we will come again.

Ona has a baby of about 3 months, owner met us with her and also allowed us to pick up her pram later as we had to go to the Dr before we drove. Owner also did her best to help us during power outages.
Owners made sure that my children and I could prepare food during load shedding, made their vehicle available for us to drive while we were stranded. Washed our clothes at no additional cost after each day's sporting activities.
Everything we needed was there and it's nice and clean. People are friendly. Will definitely stay there again.
The owners helped us so much when our vehicle gave us problems, they contacted people and gave us numbers of people who might be able to help us. They were friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean and just what was needed for a family of 4 who might be visiting here for a school tour or sports. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back in 2 years when HJS and Gray College play against each other again.

Quiet, very clean, complimentary milk, water, toiletries were good, loved the hand cream. Very clean.
