A new owner with new staff at reception. Elize is one of them. Friendly and hospitable. The Palace's location perfect for me. Previous Reception staff were not professional and accommodating. Service was poor. Things Have Changed. Thank you.
Just saw and experienced a problem with breakfast. Was in time for breakfast. There was no breakfast available. Everything was already packed away. No fresh coffee or milk. No fruit juice on the table. Some of the items e.g. mushrooms that were written on menu were not there. Fruit, grapes, was not fresh, had marks, half aged. Had to call the receptionist and ask for fresh milk for Ricoffy. Was really not up to standard for the daily rate of R750. I pay R500 at Boardwalk and get more.
