3 guests' feedbackDelavigne House - The Porch suite is perfectly located for overnight travelers between Cape Town and George. Charl's hospitality is truly rural: genuine and warm. His thoughtfulness towards his guests is evident from the refreshments and sweets he offers at no additional cost. His lamb curry, which he served when he heard I hadn't had dinner yet, tasted like my grandmother's. His open-hearted hospitality and good location mean that I will seek him out again. I recommend him without hesitation.
Very neat, private and well furnished. The host is very helpful and makes the most delicious salad dressing!
Charl is also an accomplished chef who treated us to a delicious dinner and red wine while we dined at his beautifully prepared table with a crackling, cosy fire to warm us. We slept well on the comfortable, warm bed and enjoyed a good night's rest after a long drive.
