The house offers accommodation for a large group of people. It is lovely to live out of the living area on the veranda. One feels so close to nature!
We had a great time and everything was comfortable. I will say that there should be a roof over the braai area outside. It rained and we couldn't have a good barbecue. A canopy would only make it more enjoyable, but everything was still nice. The DSTV would also be a nice bonus, should it work. We would also have enjoyed it if there was wifi. Thank you very much.

Downstairs toilet was clogged, tumble dryer and stove didn't work, panel heaters didn't work, no outside lights outside at the braai area, freezer didn't work, fridge didn't cool properly. There were chips between sofa cushions, not cleaned properly at all.
Spacious rooms, well-equipped self-catering home.
We booked at the Country Estate, due to the location and the photos on the website, but that was only a small part of the truth. When we arrived we were told that the towels were still on the clothesline outside because they were still wet. The lights in all the rooms did not work. The microwave oven's rotating device is broken. The house can sleep 8 adults, but there are not even enough cups and mugs for 6 people. The garage doors don't work. The beds are old and some of them lie crooked. The blinds didn't work either. The fans make a noise when it is on. There are laundry facilities, but the dryer does not work. In summary the location is good, if the owners spend some time and just fix the crockery, paint the place and replace everything that is broken it will be a very nice place, but unfortunately until then I will avoid the stay. Also make sure that you are not looking for a restaurant, because there is only one restaurant that stays open after 6 in Villiersdorp.
Love everything about the place.
Only downside is that the kitchen and living area are on the top floor.

The house was neat and clean. Perfect for a group of friends who want to stay overnight. Just remember your own towels.
Refrigerator does not work very well. Freezer section does not freeze. Braai sits in an uncomfortable place. Furthermore, very nice, clean and cosy. Kids enjoyed it.
Just check on the following. The toilet in main bedroom has a leak. The downstairs shower needs attention. (water leak). The sink in kitchen, broken, not the sink but the wood top. But we still enjoyed our stay very much.
It was safe to let the kids walk around and explore and the dam was great for boating. I’m not sure why we weren’t given a remote to access the boom at the gate which was difficult each time.
DStv not working. Had to buy a new plug to get it operational. Once operational found that contrary to advert there were no channels operational.

Beautiful view everywhere
Visit was nice like our first time. Was a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Cutlery had not been very clean.
We had a nice evening with a round of golf to follow. Would recommend anyone looking to escape the city to stay at Theewaterskloof Country Estate. Golf course in very good condition.

I was very impressed from the moment we arrived. Everything that one needed was there. I was even assisted to have the DStv activated so that we could watch the rugby. We will definitely come stay here again with our next visit.
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything, only needed to take clothes. Very clean, felt at home, beautiful garden, relaxing, spacious.
Literally just need your clothes. Thanks for an unbelievable weekend. I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and convenience.

We chose Theewaterskloof Country Estate for the last night of our bicycle tour of the Overberg. It was sheer luxury. It's ideal for a large group of adults and children. We were only 6 adults and there were lots of room for more. The kitchen and entertainment area is enormous and leads out onto a wide stoep. Draga is an excellent host and quick to respond to the queries we had.
Stunning house, very safe, near town of necessary shopping. Fully equipped, bathrooms and kitchen need cleaning.
The place is big and smart. Beautiful place, nice and smart. My family and I, plus two of my friends, were there for the weekend. We enjoyed it very much. Have everything I expect in a holiday spot and more. DStv for the kids. We had a nice roast and enjoyed the patio. All I can say is: Nice place, value for money. I want to go again.

We had a great stay. It was freezing. Unfortunately the gas bottle for the heater was empty but Cornelia came to the rescue and replaced the bottle with a full one immediately! We will be back.

Just what we needed, lots of room and it was nice and comfy - fully equipped kitchen. Just the one room, the plugs didn't work - so we couldn't turn the heaters on in there, or charge phones. No blankets provided, it was mid winter with snow on the mountains and it was freezing. Really recommend owners have blankets available for the beds. Great to have towels provided and the place was lovely and clean and equipped. Thank you!
