We went away for an enjoyable 3-day vacation. Spent way too much time in the jacuzzi.
From the moment we arrived until we left we experienced incredibly friendly service. The staff welcomes you with a handshake, informs you about what they offer with eye contact. The room is well appointed and it's quite fun to 'chat' with Echo and give commands. We had the room with the Jacuzzi and even though it was bitterly cold we enjoyed it!
Fabulous breakaway. Not too far to travel. Only reason for not 5 stars, everyone can always improve. Limited menu, but the food was good. Have already recommended it to friends and family.
We really enjoyed our weekend stay, our room was very well equipped, the room only lacked drinking glasses for water and a mirror near a power plug for the ladies' hair, had a great meal and hung out in the restaurant, all staff were always very friendly and helpful.

What a brilliant place for a getaway. We went to the Lab in Robertson for a one-night stay and the rooms, views, facilities, staff, service, food and everything in between were incredible. Highly recommended! We also enjoyed the owners' company very much.

We had a great stay, Rita and team went out of their way to make us welcome.
Target market is more affluent couples out to enjoy the wine farms and fine dining. Not much to do for a teenager.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite, the double walk in shower was great. The suite had a hot tub outside, which looked nice, although we did not have time to use it. The room has a nice large fireplace in it to keep the room warm, the chimney does not draw so well so you need to crack a window or door to keep the smoke from coming into the room. The outdoor pool, bar and lapa would be amazing in summer.
The room was not at all where we expected it to be. Although the room was clean it was in units away from the main building, not what the picture depicted. Dogs barking at each other, we could barely hear the unfriendly receptionist. Als was closed, including the restaurant. We have to drive 20 km back to eat. We found alternative accommodation in Montagu which was a pleasant experience. Lost money again.
Rita and her team went out of their way to make me and my boy feel welcome! The whole team is hospitable, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very neat and clean, and we especially enjoyed the jacuzzi. Breakfast was a feast and dinner was top notch.

Our room also got cleaned daily, which is a really nice service. We cannot stop talking about this stay (and the best breakfast ever!) - highly recommended.
We only wanted to use The Lab as an overnight destination to visit other wineries. However, it was so cozy that we spent the whole day there. We relaxed with massage and ate the best salmon fish ever! The electric scooters available at The Lab made our visits to the nearby wine and olive farms so much fun! The breakfast was fantastic! The Lab is part of my and my wife's life stories! Thank you very much!
We only booked one night. The Lab checked us into a small room which was very hot because the sun was shining directly into the room (36 C). We then asked for other room options and were shown two rooms and we were able to move to a larger room at no extra charge. Ant problem in the rooms and in the guesthouse. We rented the electric scooter but were disappointed because the one was flat after 5 min. and the second one stopped after 45 min. and we had to call them. Luckily we didn't pay for the rental of the scooters. The restaurant's food was very good and good service received from the staff. Very good breakfast also received which was included in the room rate. Echo option in the rooms is also nice.
The food, hospitality and the venue was incredible. We enjoyed all the activities that the venue had to offer. The staff were helpful and friendly. We felt like we were on holiday, even if we were there for one night.

Our stay at the Lab Robertson was nothing short of amazing! The customer service of the hostess was brilliant and one of the best I have experienced. Food is amazing! We stayed in and had steak and salmon pasta. The piacular taste sensations in the pasta was delicious, and also one of the best pastas I've had - you are able to taste each element, such as the smoked salmon, citrus and herbs.
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. Waiters were helpful and friendly.

The eco-scooters were a highlight and as well as their unique echo voice activation system. Very impressive. Our private jacuzzi was maintained and refilled daily and room service was on point.
We were received very kindly, everything was neat and clean. But outdoor furniture needs attention. Very weathered and not comfortable. We were moved from where we originally booked. The photos on their page are misleading. The restaurant is a huge disappointment!
Accommodation is amazing and something completely different. Rita and the staff are so hospitable and the service is great. The food is delicious. Will definitely go back.
