Zenia was super helpful with every aspect of our stay. From check-in to going home was makik. It is a working farm with trout ponds that create a peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is comfortable and stylish with everything you need. The dogs didn't know what hit them. We took the dirt road over the mountains to go to Dullstroom. The view was wonderful. We will definitely go back again.
We had such a great time at Troutwoods Cottage. Zenia was a wonderful hostess with information before and during our visit. You should also definitely make use of her cooking/baking skills, it was delicious. My son and I really enjoyed the trout fishing, it was truly an exceptional experience that we will want to do again soon. Everything you need is in the unit and everything is neat and clean. Thank you Zenia, we hope to visit again soon!
The house is very well furnished and you are surrounded by beautiful nature.
We have working dogs and a lot of them! You can not get a better place to get away with your furry family! The Troutwoods Cottage is perfect! We did many tracks and detection sessions. We went walking, cycling and swimming! Absolute blast. Please make use of Zenia’s offers. She cooks wonderfully! If you need a side dish, a dessert or even a main meal, Zenia will do it! We will certainly return to this piece of paradise.
Lovely scenic farm, we were impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the owners. We ordered food from them and it was delicious!
Trouwoods Cottage is the ideal getaway destination if you want to get away from busy life! The house is well equipped with a large, safe yard for the dogs! Amazing scenery and Zenia made us feel very welcome. And the fireplace and indoor barbecue in the rainy weather was a winner!
Truly a wonderful family weekend away. Zenia has so much passion for the farm and the cottage is a reflection of her passion made my wife’s birthday special and a great relaxing atmosphere! This is a place where you can collect your thoughts and see God’s artistic hand. We will be returning!
This was a wonderful weekend. There were fresh greetings given to us straight from the farm along with home-baked rusks and gingerbread cookies. The ponds are big and bitterly beautiful! Also caught some nice fish! The house we stayed in was camped out and worked great with the dogs. The hiking trails around the house were just as nice. Highly recommended. Very nice people!
Very nice stay. The mountain bike trails we rode were fun. The wildlife was beautiful and farm life very peaceful and enjoyable. Zenia really puts a lot of effort into the place. Thank you very much!

Beautiful accommodation and views. Our little kids really enjoyed the farm animals, but otherwise there wasn't much for them to do. I highly recommend it for a romantic getaway weekend. Zenia went out of her way to meet all our needs and we really enjoyed the break.
