Unfortunately, no children under the age of 12 years are allowed at the lodge.Children between the ages of 12-17 years that share with 1 or 2 adults, will be charged a third-person supplement rate on a fully inclusive basis.
Check-in at Bakubung by 13:30 daily. There is only 1 transfer per day to the lodge to ensure privacy.
Please note that guest vehicles are parked in protected bays at Bakubung Bush Lodge. No private vehicles are permitted at Tshukudu.
For the full Tshukudu bush experience, there are no radios, TVs, or telephones. Cell phone reception is very limited.
For any guests who may have special dietary requirements, please notify reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
Tshukudu is situated high on a rocky outcrop. To reach the cottages, guests are required to climb 132 steps which make the area inaccessible to the physically challenged.
The refreshing pool is accessible to all residents. Please be advised that there are no lifeguards on duty, however, we do have staff trained in first aid to assist should there be any emergency.
