Early arrival without phoning not well received - understandable, but on a rainy day with no other options they said they can check if the room is ready earlier, and subsequently never came back us. No knowledge on load shedding when booking. We were told there should be an emergency light in the unit in case of load shedding as the generator was broken - none found in the room. Suggestion: to install at least 1 load shedding bulb in 1 light in the unit. Open View TV compared to other accommodations with DStv selected channels is not really worth it.
Expectation sufficient.
The meal on Saturday night was not really a buffet, more like a three course meal and a bit expensive for what was offered.
Overall it was a comfortable stay, but we waited over an hour for our supper at the restaurant and upon receiving our steaks they were completely overcooked. The Jacuzzi just needs to be rinsed through a bit before visits, we found spider webs and eggs and old hair in our Jacuzzi water. The mugs in the room for coffee are tiny tiny tiny. Please consider bigger mugs.
Helpful and friendly service. Good and clean facilities in a beautiful area with hiking trails from the premises to the river and waterfall(s). Delicious continental breakfast included in the price.

We started our 10 day holiday at the Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa and the two nights in the honeymoon suite were a treat. I wanted to find out about the beds in the suite seeing that we prefer a bigger bed, and the change had no extra costs. The Lodge went out of their way to accommodate our request. Die room is stylishly furnished with a lot of detail to make it comfortable for the guest. Die lay-out is beautiful, the spa-bath on the one side and the tiny lounge on the other side. We both enjoyed the buffet dinners - a big fireplace gave it a lovely and cosy atmosphere. The big variety of music was refreshing!

Each and everyone of the staff here are extremely friendly and go out of their way to cater to your every need. The food was excellent. One of the best buffets we've ever had! Can recommend it to anyone.
Very disappointing. The hut was outside the unit and we had to set it up ourselves. The bedding of the cot had large brown stains on it. The bath had not been washed. Definitely will not go there again. Received no feedback or apology from the management even after we went to complain.

Stay was very nice and the food pleasant. A problem in the chalet is that the double bed is on the platform and the storage space for your clothes is below. It's very hot up there. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Super location, staff, swimming pool & forest walks BUT WE WERE NOT TOLD BEFOREHAND of non-stop rainy/damp weather during this holiday time, or of the traffic noises from adjacent N2 highway, and lack of aircon in rooms. We also had doubts about the freshness of the restaurant's food. As a result, we cut short our fully pre-paid, 7-night stay, and left after only 4 nights.
