My friends and I recently needed some relaxing “time-out” and had the pleasure of staying at Twin Greens for the weekend. Dave responded quickly to our enquiry and the booking process was quick and effortless. We thought he really went the extra mile to ensure that the Jacuzzi was perfectly heated and there was more than enough ice in the ice machine when we arrived. Even though we aren’t golfers, we found so much to do in the area upon Dave’s recommendation. What a tranquil setting with beautiful views! One instantly feels safe and calm when walking into the spacious and tastefully furnished home. Personally, I just fell in love with the Le Creuset cookware in the well-equipped kitchen! Our little dogs gleefully played in the big fenced-in garden which even has its’ own little beach in front of the dam and fountain. The two children slept on the extra comfy pull-out beds and were able to watch their own TV programmes on DSTV and Netflix in the rooms while the ladies indulged in chick flicks on the main big screen. The staff was very friendly and ever so helpful. We were sorry to leave this spot of happiness and will most certainly visit Twin Greens again. It gets a big thumbs-up ratio from all of us!!. "Disaster of a weekend. Would never ever recommend this to anyone. No stars will really articulate our feeling about this house and weekend."

The photos and description on the website are a total misrepresentation of the place and what you can expect. First: It is not indicated anywhere that this is a permanent residence that is rented out. The whole house is full of personal items and photos. Every closet and drawer is full of stuff. The master bedroom is especially full of the owner's personal photos and belongings that are lying around and the drawers are full! It immediately makes you wonder if you get clean towels and bed linen. The laundry basket makes you cringe, it's so musty. The shower racks were tackled and the bathtubs stained. Second: The fridge is full of their personal food and the shelves that are supposed to hold 10 or more people's food were filthy. The freezer had two shelves available for a whole weekend's worth of meat for 10 guests. We had to live off the ground out of our crates and containers. Every surface in the kitchen is packed full of the owner's personal items (sauces, eggs etc.). Third: The garage is full of their personal items and it is impossible to park two cars next to each other. Fourth: The curtains are worn out and broken everywhere. It's stained, rags and bitterly dirty. Fifth: The inner and outer benches are also rags and put through! The benches outside are also not at all the ones advertised in the photos. Sixth: The carpets are just so filthy dirty. Seventh: The wooden deck outside is not maintained at all and gives way in parts and lifts in other parts. Eighth: The place is not pet-friendly. Make sure your dog can't bark. Ninth: The cleaner. She is a lovely, kind person, but after coming to make herself breakfast in the kitchen, wash and dry her own laundry, make our beds and wash the morning's dishes, then what is the reason that does she hang around the house from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm? We booked the weekend to spend time together as a family and it feels like you're being watched all the time. Again no privacy! Tenth: The piece of grass where you have to park the extra car is very small and you literally climb into the plants when you get out of your car. We are extremely disappointed in this property and weekend. For the exorbitant amount we feel put in and very upset.

"Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place!"

We were a group of 12 attending a wedding in the area and Twin Greens met all our requirements. Dave, the owner, went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and the housekeeper, Thando, was an absolute star! The house is very luxurious and spacious, fully equipped with everything needed and we stayed like kings. I can't recommend Twin Greens highly enough!

The house certainly needs attention, is spacious and warm. Water pressure pathetic and could not park our second car in garage due to too much stuff in the garage.

The accommodation was adequate. The arrangements at the estate were in place except we didn't know where to get the key. The owner was not physically available, but he quickly responded to my requests and was very accommodating.

Nice open spaces to be with family.
