We were a group of seven adults as this was the booking request from the start. Although I was aware that the 7th occupant would be using a sleeper couch I was surprised that this was merely a normal couch that was not suitable for an adult to sleep on. The water in the showers was lukewarm, this was addressed with the host on the 1st day and his response was that he will fix it. Fixing it meant that we could only have hot showers during certain times (6-9 evenings and mornings). We were happy to have it fixed. I've never heard of specific times for taking a shower, at this point I was tired of asking and didn't want to come across as being a complainer. Some days some of us had cold showers and on the morning of the 2nd there was no hot water although the host was aware that we were departing early hours. Not enough dinner plates throughout the stay, only 4 were available. The jacuzzi was not working, the host apologised. Your helper that cleaned the place on a daily basis was very efficient, polite and pleasant. The host was friendly. Personally, this is not what I expected and my family was not impressed. All the best for the future.
A lot of thought has been put in the finishing touches. I can really recommend this venue. This will definitely become our go-to place when we visit Durban and surrounds again. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the atmosphere is just so homely. This is really an upmarket accommodation at a very affordable price. Very comfortable, extremely hygienic and clean with a luxurious feel to it.

Lovely, cosy, clean room. Friendly, helpful host. Very accommodating. I felt safe and secure as a female staying there alone.
The accommodation is very nice and tidy. A suggestion for the bathroom that was in our unit is that the bathroom door is very impractical in the bathroom. This prevents you from being able to move comfortably in the bathroom. The shower's water runs all over the regular bathroom floor and causes you to have to put towels there to dry up the water. There is no electric power plug near the dressing table so you have to use the power plug from the fridge to plug in your hair dryer, very impractical.
