Definitely nice and close to the wine farms.
Most beautiful scenic cottage. We had a great stay at Vigne Cottage. It is between Bon Courage's vineyards and the cottage was neat and clean on arrival. There was a nice welcome note for us with wine, baked bread and Easter eggs. The smaller details in the cottage are stunning. Will definitely book there again.

We were received with so much care. Vigne Cottage is perfect in every way, but what makes the experience completely unique is the detail and extra pampering, which Neldine takes care of as hostess. The accommodation offers everything required for a very special experience. The extra bonus discount on wine sales was very welcome. Everything was perfect! Our family enjoyed the quietness and to be away from the city life. The children loved the farm where they could run around without any fear. We were warmly welcomed and, as always, everything is on par. This is our 3rd time visiting and it will definitely not be our last. The owner, Neldine, is such a good hostess and the place is spotless and well-equipped.
Everything was top notch, just have to fix the wifi issue as it's very hard to get signal.
Everything was perfect. I had to go look for my children a few times. They pretty much explored the farm, there wasn't even time to watch TV. The house has everything and more you need, especially the dishwasher stood out along with the fresh flowers and beautiful decor. It's just far enough from the Cape for a nice weekend getaway. Thanks to the hostess, you are brilliant.

Loverly spacious cottage. Everything was clean and neat, and lots of attention to detail. Lovely surroundings and the kitchen looks onto the vineyards. The indoor braai room is a bonus in cold weather.

With such a view over the mountains and vineyards, it can only be enjoyed with family and friends. Silence and clean air were also good.
Comfortable, convenient. From the wine waiting for you to the braai with Blitz and wood and everything in between, Vigne Cottage is fully equipped. We had a very nice stay. Suggestion: Please put up better road signs, if you come from Bonnievale side the entrance is difficult to see, particularly after dark.
Vigne Cottage meets all your travel needs. Tasteful decor, bottle of wine and a fresh bun on arrival, indoor and outdoor barbecue area, full DStv, modern bathroom and luxury beds and bedding. The fresh air of the farm and the green vineyards around the house create the feeling of tranquility and togetherness. You will see us again soon!
Would definitely recommend Vigne Cottage. We weren't sure what to expect, as is the case with any new place you visit, but our expectations were exceeded in every way. This is a lovely, peaceful getaway, and the house is well and neatly equipped. The restaurant and winery on the farm is also a must visit. We had a great time, and will definitely go back.
Spacious and neat home with a nice braai area for the kids. The freshly-baked bread on arrival was a big treat.
We had a wonderful stay, the owner communicated all the arrangements in time and with detail. The house is on a farm, it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. All the pampering, wine, buns, nags, flowers in the bathroom and the care with detail in the accommodation are really appreciated. The house is well equipped with everything needed and very tidy. Of course, it also helped that full DStv was available for the rugby fans to be able to watch the last Springbok/Lions match on Saturday. First place we stay where there are enough hooks for towels to be hung.

Vigne Cottage is everything it promises to be. The cottage is painfully neat and the furniture is terribly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We went in the middle of winter and the heaters in the rooms were already on when we arrived. The bathroom is also beautiful. We spent the whole day outside on the grass. There are an awful lot of birds to listen to. It really is the perfect house for a relaxing weekend among the vineyards.
Neldine welcomed us with her homemade bread - still warm and it was an absolute treat. We also received a bottle of red wine, more than enough wood and ice for the weekend. It was really a wonderful breakaway and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was spotless and there were more than enough blankets and heaters to keep us warm at night. An absolutely wonderful weekend!

The attention to detail, added value items of gifts of wine, free wine tasting as well as the discount of purchasing wine made it extra special. Neldine wasn't able to welcome us personally, but her communication was on point to ensure we had a good experience. Another bathroom would be the only add on I would recommend.
Hostess was always just a call away, but never in your space! Welcome gifts were so thoughtful!

The cottage was beautiful, it was very clean and safe. Everyone was very helpful. It’s very accommodating and they go that extra mile for their guests. My family and I had an awesome time there, and because we stayed there our wine tasting was free at the Bon Courage Wine farm which was a bonus! We were extremely happy with our stay, and would go back in a heartbeat.
I have been blessed to stay in many self-catering cottages in my 47 years, but never have I felt so spoiled and special as at Vigne Cottage. It was fabulous! My kids cried when we had to leave. We will definitely be back in future!
Wonderful cottage, located in the perfect spot. Our girls felt so safe. The area is beautiful with the view of the vineyard. We had a lovely stay, perfectly cozy house with a visit/braai area which we enjoyed immensely. We enjoyed every moment of our visit. All we would like to think would be missing is a second bathroom/toilet. Other than that, the place is perfect. Will book this place again in the future. Will also recommend to other people, will not regret.

Vigne Cottage is excellently equipped with everything you need for a wonderful visit - beautiful view, delicious barbecue area, and a dishwasher. We had a great time and relaxed - 3 nights away felt like a whole holiday. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality, we didn't lack for anything!
It was a wonderful weekend. We were 5 adults and slept there for two nights. House has a cosy spacious layout and is very tastefully finished. Single bathroom shared by the rooms was no problem as it is a nice spacious bathroom that is conveniently furnished. Slept well, stayed well, ate well of the free farm bread, drank fine wine.
Once again I would like to thank you for your hospitality in allowing us to use your space. We as a family enjoyed every minute while staying there and the view from the kitchen is to die for. We have visited Viljoensdrift and Bon Courage a few times and didn’t even know of the gem you had hidden in the vineyards. The place was well equipped with everything that is needed for the stay. Be sure that we will be back.
This is a wonderful cottage for a relaxing break away! Amazing indoor braai area. The owner was more than accommodating to ensure that our stay was perfect. Complimentary wine, wood etc. was a great surprise. Two small suggestions would be to have block out blinds on the bedroom windows, very bright at night with the outside lights on and an extractor fan in the shower will ease the steam build-up. All-in-all, our family stay was perfect. Thank you Naldine for everything. Service excellence. Wow!

We had a wonderful time at Vigne Cottage. The house was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All the extras like wood, home-baked bread, wine etc. made us feel really special. It has a very peaceful atmosphere and felt safe at all times. The river is also nearby for bass fishing or swimming. This is definitely one of our favorites!
From the 2 bottles of wine and home-baked bread to the beautiful house, everything just speaks of good taste and fantastic service. Dishwasher, there are even hair dryers in each room. The air conditioning welcomed us with a delightfully cool home after the scorching heat outside - a telling example of thoughtfulness from the hostess. We will definitely come again!

We loved Vigne cottage. It was beautifully appointed, with very comfortable beds, everything you could want in the kitchen, spotlessly clean. We were blown away by the lovely welcoming touches, a freshly baked and delicious loaf of bread, two bottles of excellent estate wine and a 20% discount on the Bon Courage estate wines, which we took advantage of. The cottage had a lovely enclosed wind free braai area, with vine logs provided, which lasted us easily for two braai's. There was excellent communication from the owner throughout our stay. And we loved the green lawns and beautiful views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains. We went for a nice walk through the vineyards down to the river, and visited lots of local wine estates, which are very close by.
Neldine is a great hostess who spoiled us with extras. Would stay there again anytime.
Place was very neat, people friendly, house equipped with everything you can think of. I will book with them again anytime, it was very nice. The children enjoyed the lawn and played themselves tired. In my eyes you get a lot more than what you pay for.

What a gem! The owners thought of absolutely everything and more.
Everything was perfect. We loved our stay and the time away from the kids. The chickens woke us up a bit earlier than expected, but by day two we had adjusted to it. Our hosts were away for the weekend, but stayed in constant contact to check that everything was okay. Thank you for opening your place for others to experience.

One of the best places to stay in the area. The whole experience from check in to our departure was great. There is everything you need and more. The only recommendation would be for extra toilet.
There was everything in the house that you could need. House is beautifully furnished and we received a delicious home-baked bread and delicious wine upon our arrival. Nice lawn where children can play safely. Would definitely recommend it.

Vigne Cottage is one gem of a place, truly "a real home away from home", it ticked all our boxes and more. Vigne Cottage is very tastefully decorated and everything is so incredibly neat and clean - we lacked nothing not lacking. The dishwasher was a surprise and one big plus in our eyes. The owner, Neldine Bruwer's very friendly service, instructions and treats made us feel very much at home. We had a great time and highly recommend Vigne Cottage high on a “must experience” list.

This is a lovely and cosy 3-bedroom house which I would recommend any and every day. The owners go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and the house is ideally located. It is close to: Mountain Bike Trails, hiking trails, wine pairings/tastings, restaurants with amazing food. Do yourself a favour and rent this cottage for a breakaway in a beautiful nature setting.
