25 guests' feedbackHad a weekend away for a wedding. I took my bike with me and was able to explore the area and the Bloukrans Pass with my bike. I read a lot of negative comments because the place is located near a sawmill. Maybe because we were there on a weekend it didn't bother me at all. Place was clean and tidy. It's a shame the Bloukrans Pass on the Eastern Cape side is so dilapidated.
Pleasant people and very hospitable. Nice cycling spots can ride through Bloukrans Pass from there, very beautiful.
I usually travel alone with a 10-month-old baby and it reassures me on the long journey to know that I'm staying at Villa Agape. Mariaan and Pierre go out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible while giving you your own space. I can really recommend it to anyone traveling far and looking for a place to stay for a night or two.
Owners very hospitable and the place very favorable for an overnight stop for 2. The place was a little off the normal route, but not too unfavorable. Very quiet for a good night's rest.

Location was a bit if a shock. Right and I mean right next to a soot spewing and noisy sawmill. Very welcome hosts even though they weren't expecting. Did give us a bottle if wine as an apology. Has to wait for them to clean the room.
The host and hostess were very friendly, we immediately felt like family. Rooms are neat and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you Mariaan, we will definitely visit again, it is absolutely worth it.

A quiet, tranquil place to stay. Marianne made us feel welcome and we had all that was needed for our night's stop over.
Villa Agape provides safe, clean accommodation outside the village of Coldstream in the Eastern Cape. Parking is available behind a secure fence. It's well located for anyone who wants to visit the tourist destinations in the area, but doesn't want to stay in the busy places. The self-catering accommodation is well-appointed and the lounge is comfortable. Mariaan and Pierre are friendly and cordial hosts.

Beautiful place! Was ideal for our overnight stay just before we ventured on the Otter Walk Trail. Mariaan and Pierre were very nice and helpful and have good knowledge of the area. They were also very accommodating with our arrangements. We can definitely recommend it.

The unit is very, very nice and clean. Two recommendations: Security fence and proper gate can be looked into. A board on the road close to the unit can be posted and a name board at the gate.
