The unit was extremely neat and modernly furnished. All equipment was in great working order. Although we only spent one night there, we are convinced that long-term guests experience the same hospitality and professional service at this lodge.
We really enjoyed the place to stay and will definitely go back. Everything was neat and there was nothing short.

The cottage has everything you need, home away from home. What I liked the most about this place is how the hosts respect your privacy. Wouldn't mind visiting this place again.
We were very warmly received even though it was already late in the evening. Great to be in Hoedspruit with all the restaurants and shops and yet you are on the edge of the forest with goats that come to visit. The accommodation is very spacious with everything you could need and free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, boma, lovely veranda overlooking the forest. Best shower head I have seen at a lodge in a long time. So sorry we could only stay one night, will definitely visit again.

We travel a lot and this was honestly the first time I felt like I didn't need to wash a glass or plate before using it. The owners are fantastic people who go the extra mile to make everything as comfortable as possible for guests. Even on a Sunday, our place was serviced. We will definitely stay here again!

Our hosts were attentive to any requests we made. They checked on us everyday to make sure we were happy. One unexpected surprise was the variety of TV networks they offered. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showmax, DStv and Open View. Wild animals like warthog, buck varieties and giraffe were seen from our sundeck. It was marvellous.
The place is super neat and has everything you need to take care of yourself. It's in a very nice estate that is safe, yet close to the rest of the town and surrounding tourist spots.

Wow, a real gem of a place, upmarket accommodation at a fraction of the price. Every cent worth and so much more. Safe secure parking in the Estate, no noise from the town yet you in the town. The hosts/owners were helpful and friendly, the cottage was way more than what’s expected. Lovely built-in braai and patio, Smart TV with the internet that works well, so YouTube and Netflix with no buffer, lovely lounge area with a well-designed kitchen. Spacious main bedroom with en-suite. If you're in Hoedspruit it’s a must stay.

A wonderful forest experience with a private veranda overlooking the waterhole, close parking and a lovely cottage.

Rina and Mac are lovely, friendly, considerate hosts and the inn is well kept and we'll stocked. The children enjoyed seeing wildlife every time we step outside. Located within reasonable distance of all activities within the surrounding areas. We will definitely pay The Wild Dog Inn another visit.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Wild Dog Inn and immediately regretted that I only booked for one night. The Garden Cottage was spacious and tidy, the wild comes right ro the window and calms the soul calm. The pool and braai facilities were beautiful. I will definitely return!
