The double-storey main house has 3 bedrooms with floor fans on the ground floor and an open-plan kitchen, a living room and a dining area. The main bedroom has a four-poster queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds. The 2 rooms open onto a deck that contains an outdoor bath and a shower behind a screen under the milkwood tree canopy. The third bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed for 4 children and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The open-plan kitchen is located on the first floor overlooking the river, lagoon and indigenous vegetation. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and Le Creuset cookware. Guests can enjoy their meals at the breakfast bar or 14-seater dining table, or relax in the large lounge that is fitted with a TV with Netflix access.
Large sliding doors open the living area onto a large deck with a seating area, a gas braai or a Weber kettle braai area, overlooking the lagoon and surroundings.
