19 guests' feedbackWe had a great time relaxing at Willowdene Guest Farm. It's wonderfully quiet there, you only hear the birds, no vehicles. The dirt road is drivable, you can see it is maintained. Elizabeth was very hospitable. Joyce kept our place very clean. Would recommend Willowdene to anyone who just wants to relax and rest.
What an incredible, blissful and soul-invigorating visit! Everything was clean and tidy, fine detail, quality cutlery and linen, every possible need was catered for.
We really enjoyed our stay. The setting is very peaceful, ideal for a group that wants to relax and braai. The host was very friendly and helpful. The farm was stunning, well-equipped with everything you may need for a time away and clean. We will definitely be back in the future!
We absolutely loved everything about Willowdene. The views were incredible. There was so much to do, for both adults and kids. We loved the big lawns to play games of soccer and lawn bowls. We loved the braai room for our big family dinners. We hiked up the mountain and spent time playing board games and cooking. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more! Elizabeth was a gracious and caring host. Thanks for the awesome stay!
We were in Lloyd's House and it is the more open plan of the bunch and in my opinion, the best one. Everything you need is there, and what you may need Elizabeth offered without asking. The sunrise in the area is something special. We were a group of adults with 2 small dogs. The other rooms on the farm were also full of other families and although we met and talked, no one was in anyone's private space. All the rooms have their own hot water geysers. The fireplace heats up the house very quickly, I wish it was even colder because it is a bonus to be able to make a warm fire. Very good break from the city.
Beautiful, neat and clean, with more facilities than expected. Open spaces where you can breathe freely and where waving grass jumps over the fields.
Willowdene Guest Farm is a gem that exceeded our expectations! A beautiful farm in the middle of the mountains with nothing or nobody nearby. You need the right vehicle to get there, but 4x4 is not essential. It's perfect for a quiet getaway or large groups of up to 21. The houses are very well equipped with everything you need and more. We had a warm and friendly welcome that immediately made me feel special and at home. Thank you so much Elizabeth and Anmari!
We had a lovely stay, the houses are very neat and well-equipped for large groups, especially if you are looking for a breakaway to properly relax with your friends and family. The owner received us with open arms and made sure we were satisfied. Excellent service! We are already planning our next trip to this guesthouse, and look forward to it!
It was wonderfully peaceful and has everything one needs in a unit. Hostess friendly and helpful. Water deliciously hot and pressure well. We had a very nice stay.

They have friendly staff. The house is fully equipped with cutlery, indoor braai, bar and fireplaces. Daily cleaning. Spacious. Ideal for big groups or friends wanting to break away for a weekend. It is 2 separate houses with 1 outside room. The individual buildings is private and different guests won't be a problem.

Willowdene is very nicely situated at the end of the road, far away from all civilisation. Fantastic views and garden. The house is nicely furnished in old style with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the reception is warm. I would highly recommend it.
Willowdene is a very beautiful destination. The hostess, Ena, is a pleasant person who immediately puts you at ease. The accommodation is tasteful and very comfortable. The area is picturesque and one can rest well on Willowdene. Thank you very much Ena for a wonderful visit.

The main bedroom features a King-size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds and 2 smaller single beds. The second bedroom also features a king-size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds as well as a cot. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and the fourth and fifth rooms both have 2 single beds. These rooms share 2 separate bathrooms, one with a bath and shower while the other, which is right next to and can interlead to the main bedroom, has a bath and toilet. There is also a guest toilet which is separate from the 2 bathrooms. Towels are supplied. Other amenities include electric blankets on all the main beds and panel- or oil heaters in the bedrooms.
