44 guests' feedbackWe had a very nice stay, thank you, just not suitable for self-catering because there is no kitchen. WiFi would also be welcome because most places provide WiFi these days.
Even if waiting is bad, is that there are no signs along the road and we struggled to find the place. Alfred was very helpful though. Very neat and cozy with a lovely garden. We only spent the night, but appreciated the tranquility. Walking distance to all the shops. We will definitely stay longer next time.

Water is a problem, pipes were then limed so bath, toilet, sinks very little water. Slow, almost nothing. Shower is good.
Great for a romantic getaway. Maybe not practical if you have kids - no privacy in bathroom, but for 2 people, lovely.

Such an awesome space to visit with your family. We have a 2 year and 10y year old and they loved it. Lots of space to play while we had a braai on the verandah. Super clean. Definitely booking it again for our next trip.
Feel free to have a book or guide handy to recommend things and activities you can do eg hiking trails, picnics, horse riding etc. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you very much.
Windsong's location is perfect. It has a beautiful little garden, is nice and quiet and comfortable. The garden has a beautiful view of the town and the white flowers that line the driveway are picturesque. The house was nice and clean and nicely furnished. Maybe attention could just be paid to where the towels are stored, although it was definitely clean it smelled like cat food. Maybe it is stored in the same cupboard as the cat food? Speaking of cats, we really enjoyed the cats that came to visit us.
It's a beautiful place, neat, clean and well maintained. The deck is done with care and displays beautifully. The hangout is outside on the stoep by the braai. Although it is not fully self-catering, the kitchenette is also outside on the veranda and consists of a sink and cupboard in which all cutlery, plates, glasses and mugs are kept. Well located, within walking distance of almost all shops.
I would not advertise full DStv when there was none!
We had a great stay and the cats are beautiful.
All that is bad is that there is no sign on the road where the place is. So you struggle a bit to find a place. Very nice place.

We had a lovely stay at Windsong. The house was neat, with a lovely fireplace, glasses of sweet wine, and other goodies. Would recommend to anyone and definitely go there again.
Windsong is very centrally located and we were able to explore the whole town on foot. Our two boys really enjoyed the loft. Braai facilities are well equipped on the stoep. We will definitely visit you again.
Very nice stay. Unfortunately, Sunday's Eskom made it a problem that there is no water or electricity. Just decided to drive back earlier.
Very nice and cozy places to visit. All I would recommend is that there are more and better patio chairs or furniture. Everything was beautiful and tasteful.
Thanks to Alfred who was a very good host. All that bothered me a little was the gardener who came to cut the grass on Saturday. Maybe weekday would be better.

We really enjoyed our time at Windsong. Everything we needed was there. A small duster outside just next to the sink might be of value, the lack of it, however, did not detract from the stay.

We were only able to arrive after midnight due to transport problems and our host, Alfred, was very helpful and accommodated our situation with grace. Although our time at Windsong was short, it felt like a welcome return and we were able to rest well.

Windsong is a beautiful place and perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. I would recommend the winter months as there is a nice fireplace in the bedroom. The decor is very nice and we stayed very nice!
Was only there for one night. Were three persons. Bathroom is open so not really suitable for 'non-couples'. Two single beds are hard to reach with upright ladder leading to loft. May be dangerous for children.
Fantastic location. Nice walking distance from the village. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Will definitely visit again.
We stayed a little later on Sunday - when we had to leave. Our request to stay a little later was very well received. Alfred is 100% host.
