The guesthouse offers 10 spacious rooms each with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as 3 self-catering units. The rooms and self-catering units are tastefully decorated and are equipped with a tea and coffee tray, heaters, free Wi-Fi, and a TV. All rooms are serviced daily and guests have access to in-house laundry services.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a relaxing drink on the deck whilst taking in the views, or make use of the swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens and well-manicured lawns. The cosy fireplace in the lounge will keep guests warm in the winter months. We had a nice stay, but just felt that for a four-star guest house, the room was very small and we had to buy water for the room. It was not included.

We had a delightful stay at Winelands Villa Guesthouse & Cottages. The owners were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They greeted us each morning at breakfast, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were super friendly, always available with smiles on their faces to assist wherever they could. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we appreciated the personal touch throughout our stay. As a thoughtful gesture, knowing we had an early flight, they even packed us breakfast bags for each room when we left. A truly memorable experience. We also celebrated my daughter's birthday, and the owners surprised her with a beautiful gift.

Difficult to comment as we checked in late and left early before breakfast. But this is a repeat stay for us so our previous experience did warrant us booking here again.
Very comfortable rooms, amazing view, exceptional artwork, well trained staff, delicious breakfast, very accommodating - wish we could fit in a swim! Just be careful on steep stairs to some rooms.

The cottage is separate from the guesthouse itself, very private and comfortable. African style and wel-equipped. The service is great, also the community room is good.

I'm so disappointed. I've booked a Luxury room with a king size bed (tried to impress my new friend). And we got two single beds pushed together in a small room somewhere upstairs in a funny little loft.
Winelands Villa Guesthouse & Cottages is conveniently located as you enter Somerset West. This makes the highway as well as other routes to the surrounding areas easily accessible.

Without a doubt one of the favourite accommodations we stayed in during my time! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Simba. The staff was extremely friendly, the continental breakfast was off the hook (appreciate this!) and the kitchen manager deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

The service is fantastic, they are friendly and helpful. The place is well located, clean and quiet; ideal for an escapade with your couple. The rooms are well sized and clean, beds are comfortable. The palapa room on the bathroom has some bugs but nonetheless was a minor detail which not affected our overall stay.

The person who assisted us on arrival said the filter needs to be replaced the next morning early, but it was and both myself and my husband love swimming so that kind of spoiled my birthday weekend for me.

Guest house at nice, neat and clean. with good atmosphere. if I had to mention a negative point it would be the TV that only has an open view decoder. which does not really provide viewing pleasure. The room ans service is fine. The breakfast is perfect, but the guesthouse is not situated as we expected. Nothing in walking distance.
The villa is a good place to chill and relax and unwind. It is a bit far from good spots to visit if you do not have a car and then it may be a little pricey to Uber to different places. Otherwise it's a lovely place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay even if it was only for business. The booking was easy and the place is not difficult to find at all. Reception was excellent, and the unit was clean and pleasant. I would definitely like to take my family there.
Room 7 has a door leading to the garden and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the Boland afternoon and evening before and after our overseas trip. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Winelands Villa felt like an African safari (without the wild animals) away from life in the city. The breakfast area has a sea view. It is relaxing and definitely worth a long stay. I'd recommend this place to everyone.
We were at an event and could only arrive at midnight. The woman (I think her name is Lydia) who received us at that time, even though it was so late at night, was still pleasant. The luxury room was neat. The garden was beautiful. Just a pity I couldn't enjoy the swimming pool - I will make up for that when I return on warmer days.
I made arrangements to arrive after 19:00. The person at reception doesn't understand Afrikaans. Despite the fact that "Afrikaans" was ticked on LekkeSlaap. No soap or shampoo in the room/bathroom. Curtains derail when you try to close them. Curtains had to stay open eventually. No place for little hook, so curtains hang lose. It is important for me to be able to close curtains properly.
Staff are some of the best.
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay there. Simba was very accommodating as we checked in very late. He helped us to settle in the next say. The breakfast was great, we had a variety of a healthy meals. The guesthouse was very clean and located in a quiet place. We had to check out at 5am and Simba prepared fruit and yogurt for our breakfast. We definitely will be coming back.
Very pleasantly surprised with the reception we received and the cleanliness of the place. As well as our first time in the Cape and was well helped with places of the Cape is very well situated. Our stay was very nice and will definitely visit again and recommend it to others.
We stayed for 6 nights. The manager is very professional and friendly. Luxurious and quiet. Booked 3 nights and added another 3.
