We had a wonderful stay at Wokini. The owners are very considerate people and the cleaners are just as friendly. The owner and we come to greet us at the check-in time and make sure we have everything we need. The goats and animals give you the real farm feeling and make you feel younger again. Wokini is not too far from many attractions, and it has a beautiful view from the porch with sails that you can close if the wind bothers you. There is a lovely large gas grill on your spacious large porch and a nice boma area for some storytelling. We will definitely stay there again. The cottage is well equipped with a full kitchen and a large fridge. I can recommend Wokini to anyone who has a love for animals and nature.
Beautiful and spacious place!
We had a great time at Wokini. The nature is amazing and we totally relaxed while sitting and watching the goats. Carole and Edwin were so hospitable. The house is stunning and has everything you could possibly need. The splash pool was a real plus in the heat and the view from our porch was just as calming. We felt like guests in a five-star hotel.

Fantastic place, exceptionally comfortable stay and meets standards. Braai area (Boma) can only be equipped with a grill for braai.
The attention to detail was something else, they literally thought of everything one could possibly need.

We didn't know about load shedding, as soon as the power goes down the generator kicks in which should already be a plus for any traveller. We were received very hospitably and Edwin had daily contact with us during the three days of our stay. It was nice to see the Kudus, Njalas and other wildlife in the afternoon when they come to eat and drink water. The self-catering unit is well equipped with everything you could need. The Lakota word "Wokini" means new life, a life of peace and happiness. We experienced and felt the peace, love and happiness during our stay. Pleasant hospitality, tidy and a brilliant setting. Recommended!
Wokini is a suitably situated guest house, well structured to take in all that the surroundings has to offer. Tranquil atmosphere with a view of the N4 national road on the left side, the fruit farm in front, the mountainous area further front right and the game farm on the side and back of the guesthouse. Well secured with 3 remote controlled gates well spaced to pass through and a covered parking for the vehicle. A very comfortable, neat, tidy and well maintained interior and a large patio/Braai/exterior dining area that is well equipped. The provisions by Wokini in the bed, bath rooms and kitchen for one's personal use including certain appliances need special mention. This elevates the establishment speaking volumes of the management, staff and ownership. It was pleasant engaging with the staff when needed, too. Well, when the wife and daughter are happy, then I have made a good choice. Keep up the good work and standards.

The presence of dogs might be uncomfortable for some people. I was pleasantly surprised with the coffee, liqueur, tea and other amenities in the room. The environment is calm and safe.
