Beautiful location, but we had only a 1/4 roll of toilet paper (lasted only a short time), no person on site to assist, and it is 10km to the local PnP.

If I can make any criticism it is only that the room we were initially placed in is very small and dark. However, the host then almost immediately moved us to another room that was much better. For which we are grateful. The facilities are very polite and tidy in a peaceful quiet environment. Good value for money.

Zonnevanger is centrally located between several towns. It is very safe and quiet and rooms very comfortable and neatly furnished. Owners very friendly. Was our second visit and will definitely be visiting a 3rd time.

Toilet in the unit is out of order, had to use the outside toilet far from the room and with power outages there was no water. Unit was also not properly clean.

Friendly owner and staff. It's a peaceful environment, just to be able to come and 'charge' your 'battery', to be able to get busy again. We will spend the night there again on our way to Cape Town for the Argus.

Would recommend the place anytime. Very friendly welcome and received excellent personal service from the host. The guest house is very centrally located and we were able to visit many places in the area.
It should only be noted that Zonnevanger is not set up for self-catering. We were there for 4 nights but unfortunately we misread that there are only coffee facilities available. Hennie was helpful by providing us with a few items.

Dirty spots on the mirror, room didn't feel clean. Towels were in short supply. No window in room, had to leave room door open for fresh air resulting in no privacy. Sprinklers on that watered the entire porch in front of the room. Oh no what, would not recommend at all.

This was our first time in Paarl, so the environment was strange to us. Hennie kindly explained to us where everything was in and around Paarl, which made our journey much easier. Our booking at Zonnevanger was a late minute booking after other accommodation canceled a week before our stay. What a pleasant surprise to enjoy seamless access to the premises at Zonnevanger outside of their normal check-in hours. The rooms are clean, tidy and tasteful, the owners friendly and accommodating and with a smile willing to make adjustments at short notice such as providing a gluten-free, vegan with a wonderful breakfast. Thank you very much Zonnevanger. We recommend you to anyone who really wants to sleep well.
Located just a little outside the Paarl, the silence and tranquility that this accommodation offers is definitely to be recommended. It is close to Wellington and Franschhoek. The owner went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible especially with load shedding which was a problem. I will definitely use it again if I have to spend the night in the area.

Zonnevanger offers clean, neat and safe accommodation at an affordable price in a nice location from where all sights in the area can be easily accessed.
The arrangements regarding the supply of the keys leave much to be desired. Contact person could not be reached and after 45 minutes we could not contact her in any way to obtain keys. After a call to the administrative office, the contact person was finally located and keys could be delivered.

We experienced very friendly and helpful staff. It was indeed nice to have great communication and feedback from management while confirming our booking and other details of our stay. The room was very clean and although we only used it as a short one night stay-over, everything was perfect. I can recommend Zonnevanger with confidence to anyone.
The place was neat and clean. We only had one big problem. There is no window in the bedroom. The windows in the bathroom couldn't open either, because the paint on the frame prevented it. The security gate was very noisy when you opened or closed it.
